Support Her B.O.O.T.S. (Building around Obstacles and providing Opportunities Towards Self-Sufficency)  is a 501 c3 nonprofit organization that was founded in 2014 in Charlotte, NC. The mission of SHB is to provide education, empowerment, and resources to Female Veterans across the Carolinas. 

This goal is accomplished through having workshops on various topics, forming parterships with community organizations supporting community events hosting our annual flagship fundraising event-

The Global SoldierFestival.

The goal is that Female Veterans across North Carolina regardless of branch of service and time in service are assisted with services and support that will enhance their service and families.

SHB has supported Female Veterans and the veteran community as a whole from various cities in North Carolina. SHB has engaged with those who support the military in various cities to include Charlotte, Fayetteville, Jacksonville, Chapel Hill, Durham, Greensboro, Havelock, Holly Ridge, Matthews, Monroe, Raleigh, Richlands, Wilmington, and Goldsboro.
